When Scale75 asked me to pait its next fantasy miniature, I said yes immediately, without even seeing the figure. I just needed to know that it was a sculpture of Joaquín Palacios! And of course I wasn’tt disappointed when it arrived to my home!
Although I must admit that the first feeling was real panic when I saw this figure so big. I wanted to scream, run … and even re-package it and send it back … I had no idea where to start and my mind was completely blocked. Furthermore, to make matters worse, I had a few days to do the job and was ready on time for launch, so the margin of error was reduced to zero. But after that moment of panic, I began to enjoy the figure, with a brutal force and a sculpture.
The assembly is very simple, which facilitates the anchoring of the pieces to avoid accidents. But the biggest difficulty of this piece is its size and weight, something different from what we may be used. However it’s very simple in its elements so that makes it easy to enjoy a comfortable painting. I assembled it completely to painted it.
Here you have a picture to compare the size of the figure.
